
Branding & logo design for a premium jewellery brand
THE CLIENT
Black Octopus is a sleek, understated and modern jewellery brand. Founder Kate came to me to design the branding for the business, to be used over all customer touchpoints including packaging, signage and website.
I created an elegant but slightly edgy brand identity with a typography-based logomark which feels fluid and slightly molten to echo the jewellery making process.
I used a deep and rich plum and charcoal palette with highlights of gold - the overall look and feel is serene, intriguing and androgynous with a rebellious edge - echoing the beautiful jewellery pieces.
